The mission The Cheryl Kay Foundation is to improve the quality of living and independence for senior citizens in financial need and for women battling breast cancer by funding caregiving services in the home. The Sites Family Trust established the Linda Kranias Fund to target those needs in Adams County, Pennsylvania.
Like many philanthropic efforts, the Cheryl Kay Foundation was born out of loss when Cheryl Kay Stawovy lost her tenacious battle with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, in 2013. A year later the Kranias family suffered the same loss when Linda lost her own fight with breast cancer.
Unlike Cheryl and Linda, who were surrounded by loving family, there are countless numbers of women who find themselves facing the fight of their lives alone.
Two families joining hands to close the gap in care for our Adams County neighbors.
In memory of Linda Kranias, the Sites Family Trust has joined the Cheryl Kay Foundation to assist Adams County citizens to live and to heal safely at home. Together our families are committed to honoring Cheryl and Linda’s tenacious battles with breast cancer and Cheryl’s professional life as a home care agency owner.
By contributing to the Linda Kranias Fund you will help to send caregivers into the homes of Adams Countians in need so that they may maintain their dignity and independence for many years to come.
Together, with your help, we can make a difference in the life of one of our neighbors in need.
